Nikon C2+ Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope
The Nikon C2+ Confocal is on an upright microscope base and operates with the same software that the A1R confocal uses. This allows researchers to image their samples from above, when an inverted scope is not practical for their samples. For more information on using this instrument, view our policies and rates. Refer to Confocal 101 Imaging Information shared by Cincinnati Children's Confocal Imaging Core for tutorials on image acquisition and NIS Elements Software.
Multichannel fluorescent images even sharper than those produced by the DeltaVision - Ryne Grouch of the Hyde Lab uses the Nikon C2+ to examine the three-dimension structure of the zebrafish retina, and the retina repairs damage.
