Dr. Sergei Rouvimov (Ruvuma) is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Notre Dame and TEM Program Director at Notre Dame Integrated Imaging Facility. He graduated from St-Petersburg State University (Russia) and received his Ph.D. from A.F. Ioffe Physical Technical Institute (1987). During the last twenty years, his research was focused on various areas of nano-science, nano-technology and nano-characterization. He has coauthored over 100 publications (H-index 25) with over 1,500 citations on papers associated with semiconductor nano-structures. He collaborated with over 100 outstanding scientists including Dr. Zh. I. Alferov, 2000 Nobel Prize Laureate, and Dr. H. Amano, Dr. I. Akasaki and Dr. S. Nakamura, 2014 Nobel Prize Laureates. Prior to joining the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Rouvimov was working at leading research institutions including A.F. Ioffe Physical Technical Institute (Russia), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (USA) and Max Plank Institute for Micro-Structure Physics (Germany).
