Super Resolution Light Microscopy

-

Location: Virtual

The NDIIF is exploring Super Resolution technologies to bring to the Optical Microscopy Core. The first instrument demonstration is Stimulation Emission Depletion Microscopy or STED available from Leica. This technology can achieve up to a 10-fold increase in resolution over that of conventional light microscopy. A STED microscope will be available for you to try during the week of April 25th. Prior to the arrival of the microscope, there will be an informational seminar this Friday, April 1 from 2-3pm.
