Congratulations to the 2017 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows! 

The $4500 fellowship is offered to Undergraduate members of HCRI working on a cancer-related project this summer. The 2017 awardees are:

Student: Sam Arroyo

Project Tile: Myeloid Derived Suppressor Cells in Bone Metastasis of Prostate Cancer

Mentor: Dr. Xin Lu, John M. and Mary Jo Boler Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Notre Dame


Student: Kate Beriont

Project Tile: Investigation into the Extrinsic Mechanism of MTSS1 Downregulation in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Mentor: Dr. Reginald Hill,  Archibald Assistant Professor of Cancer Biology, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Notre Dame


Student: Michael Canonico

Project Tile: Site-Specific Antiboty-Drug Conjugation via Nucleotide Binding Site for Increased Efficacy and Reproducibility
