The Notre Dame Integrated Imaging Facility (NDIIF) plays an active role in facilitating these scientific and research opportunities related to imaging for students, faculty, and staff at the University of Notre Dame, as well as for its visitors.

The NDIIF provides students of all levels with the imaging tools needed to encounter new research experiences and participate in research discovery and advancement. A few of these opportunities include, but are not limited to, the Research Experience for Undergraduates (ND REU), the annual Fall Undergraduate Research Fair (FURF), and the College of Science Joint Annual Meeting (COS-JAM).

Additionally, the NDIIF has partnered with industry as well as international universities to provide diverse research experiences for students. Students from around the world, including the University of Glasgow, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais Brazil, Department of Radiopharmaceuticals (Litomerice, Czech Republic), the Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University, Thailand, and more have come to Notre Dame to study and conduct research at the NDIIF.

The NDIIF is also associated with several regional, national, and international organizations and societies

The facility is working to expand various outreach capabilities by building a library of resources that are available to not only our users but to those beyond Notre Dame. Below are videos to highlight some faculty users and their research that was conducted using instruments within the NDIIF.
